Adding dark leafy greens gives your fruit smoothie extra superpowers. I usually blend about 40% organic green veggies with 60 % sweet fruit like banana, mango, apple or avocado to avoid the bitter taste from the leafy green veggies.
Smoothies are quick to make, easy to digest, taste good and opposed to juices they still have the fibres which are very important to our elimination system.
All green vegetables contain chlorophyll. A molecule of chlorophyll closely resembles a molecule of human blood. According to teachings of Dr. Ann Wigmore, "consuming chlorophyll is like receiving a healthy blood transfusion".
All you need to make this delicious, nutritious, green smoothie is ofcourse a good blender:
a handful of organic alfa alfa sprouts
a handful of organic green fresh kale
6 cm of an organic cucumber
